Programming and Research
We will scrutinize your analysis of the project in mind and then conduct our own research to determine the best strategy and approach.
Concept Design, Strategic Decision Making, and Retention Strategies
On the basis of an approved approach, we will present conceptual design documents and retention strategies geared towards tenants, employees, and repeat customers. This is a decision-making step to establish the tone and needs of the project before we move to formal schematics.
Schematic Design and Amenities Analysis
We will determine design and programming recommendations to fulfill your project requirements and space layout, including an in-depth amenities analysis. These strategies and furniture plans will determine the space planning for the project and adhere to building and ADA codes.
Design
Development
Once the conceptual and schematic designs are approved, we will dive into the heart of the project through the preparation of the Design Development Documents. We will identify materials based on the project’s requirements and seek approval for the overall project visualization.
Construction Documentation Creation
A complete and cohesive interior design document set is created and coordinated with architectural drawings that define and illustrate all built elements, lighting, materials, and more including floor plans, electrical coordination plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans and specifications, interior elevations, construction details, and furniture plans.
Project
Administration
In partnership with the architect and builder teams, we will review contractor and sub-contractor submissions of specifications, shop drawings, and samples for coherence with design intent. During the course of the project, we will ensure all vendors and partners communicate and collaborate. We will also visit the project site to ensure the work is proceeding with the design intent of the Project Documents.
Coordination of
Bidding
This phase of the project includes the evaluation of bids and negotiating proposals based on contract documents for all elements of the project.
FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) Specification
We will select and/or design the Project FF&E based on the research and project visualization steps completed earlier in the process. When all selections are finalized, we will provide written specifications for the approved products.
Coordination and Procurement Services of FF&E
Once the FF&E selections and general bidding relating to the project have been confirmed, we will coordinate purchasing services, overseeing final installation of placement where appropriate.
Promotional Collateral for Marketing Use
Once a design is approved, we specialize in creating bespoke marketing collateral including furnished plans, interior, exterior, and aerial renderings as well as fully rendered fly-through videos. These marketing materials can be used by our clients for preleasing, attracting potential investors or partners, and helping recruit or excite current or potential employees.
Graphic Design and Branding
In addition to interior design, ACI also provides graphic design services geared towards creating, improving or even re-branding a business’s identity. While ACI also works to integrate established brands into various projects, we also get involved even sooner to help businesses establish and create their brand with custom logo, typography, color palette, branding story, and other graphic design needs, as well as website design consultation.
