As the regional corporate offices for this developer and contractor, the client desired for the building to reflect their principles of well-built buildings that are marketable, relevant, and attractive. How the building and interiors were designed and constructed was the driving force for the entire project. Working closely with the architect, the interior spaces were seamlessly and purposely designed and constructed to show the importance and effectiveness of construction processes and building materials, many times incorporating elements that transitioned from the exterior to the interior. Wood, stone, and steel creating high contrast and complementary textures paired with carpet, reflective cabinets, decorative lighting, and a modern FFE package created an office that represented the client’s business principles.
